Outstanding!
Virgin Hotels NashvilleWe loved our stay so much, we decided to stay another night! Every member of staff was attentive to our dog. We sat in the luxurious bar with our dog and they brought him a bowl of water. He received a treat at the valet. The room layout was smart and the views were awesome. The location was nice too. Although we paid for valet, it does appear you can park on the street for free if you are lucky enough to find an open spot (the area of the street in front of valet).
Good and bad
Best Western InnSuites Phoenix Hotel & SuitesThe good: Arrived just after 10pm and the lobby was locked and I had to be buzzed in. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. We were able to park right in front of our room. there’s gravel near the door for late night potty breaks and a couple of nice grassy areas throughout the property with doggie poo bags.
The bad: We were placed two doors away from the maid quarters, so at 7am the carts started rolling and house cleaning staff was talking constantly. The front door was stuck and hard to open and close properly. The phone had the red light blinking for a message, but when I picked up the receiver, it was not working. The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors talking. Perhaps we got this room because we didn’t book directly through the hotel because there seemed to be a lot of availability.
Great stay!
La Quinta by Wyndham PecosNot only was this place very dog friendly, but it was wonderful in every other way as well. Nice clean rooms, full free breakfast, quiet, easy access to the interstate and a lot of large grassy space for my dog to run.
Okay stay
Motel 6 Old Town Scottsdale/Fashion SquareWe arrived at 3am on a Friday night and had a room located somewhat in the middle of the complex. The walls are thin and there were a lot of guests still up walking around and talking, televisions blaring. It was difficult for my dog because it was so noisy that he got worried that someone was breaking in. The place was clean and served it’s purpose for a bed to sleep on and a shower. There’s a grassy spot near the mall next store to relieve dogs. A weekday stay May not have been so bad as far as the noise.
