10 Ways to Pamper Dog Moms This Mother’s Day

This article was updated in April 2021.

Dogs love their (human) mothers. Mom makes sure Fido is clean, healthy and always fed on time. She gets up in the middle of the night to take her pups out, is a poop-scooping queen at the dog park, and gives the best snuggles. As a way to show appreciation for all that she does for her four-legged children, we’ve compiled a list of ways to spoil the special dog mom in your life, for Mother’s Day or National Dog Mom's Day. Dog mamas, we’re sure your pup would want you to treat yourself to something amazing from this list, too!

1. Flowers From Fido

You can never go wrong when you give any mother a bouquet of flowers. We like the “a-DOG-able” floral arrangement options from 1-800-Flowers (which is delivered by UPS, FedEx, USPS or a local florist), but any arrangement will do. If you’d prefer to gift some seeds (like these for dog-friendly zinnias) to grow in her garden, we’re sure her pup can help with the fertilizer. Check out our guide to the best flora to plant in your pet-friendly garden.

The “a-DOG-able” floral arrangements start at $54.99 on 1-800-Flowers.
