The burger menu includes a number of interesting burgers, like the Accidental Purist, a garden burger with grilled apples, caramelized onions, melted Brie, and tomato marmalade. The Ivy Tavern is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30am to 1:00am, Friday to Saturday from 11:30am to 2:00am, and Sunday from 11:30am to 12:00am.

The Beef Barn

The Beef Barn has a dog-friendly picnic table. When it opened its doors it was the summer of '69, but Bryan Adams was nowhere to be seen. Instead, upon entering the building you will be transported back to yesteryear. The walls are adorned with vintage hatboxes and original signage from Cobble Rock. The menu is also a throwback, many of the items that were originally sold still remain, including lots of the sandwiches that are listed. As the name suggests, they are most well know for their roast beef sandwich, cooked low and slow for eight hours and sliced throughout the day. The Beef Barn is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 10pm and Sunday from 12pm to 10pm.

Dogs are allowed at Caleb and Broad, where they serve creative twists on familiar fare. Whether you're heading there for brunch, lunch, or dinner, you'll find something on the menu that takes your fancy. Their blackened steak and eggs, served with blackened bistro steak, Lyonnaise potatoes, grilled French baguette, and two eggs is a very popular dish amongst locals. On the lunch menu, the mussels are prepared in a wheat beer, tomato, garlic, fennel, and citrus cream broth. Alternatively, you could try the shrimp curry with coconut rice, sauteed kale, broccoli, and radicchio. You and Fido can sit outside at one of their six outdoor tables. Caleb and Broad is open weekdays from 5pm to 1am and weekends from 11am to 2am.

On the menu, the pesto-marinated portobello sandwich is topped with sun-dried tomatoes, balsamic onions, and arugula, and served on a sesame roll. The Misquamicut Sandwich Company is open every day of the week from 8am to 3pm.

Alternatively, you could try one of their breakfast specialties, like Dante's Omelet with egg whites, baby spinach, portobello mushroom, goat cheese, topped with tomato basil salsa and served with three bean salad and wheatberry toast. If you arrive a little bit later, try their shrimp and grits, jambalaya, or their Big Ole Burger. And wash it all down with their Dante's Inferno Bloody Mary. Dante's Kitchen is open Tuesday through Sunday from 7:30am to 2:30pm.

You'll also discover a fresh salad bar, hot soups, and sandwiches. Eastside Marketplace is open every day of the week from 8am to 10pm.

Edgewood Cafe

The Edgewood Cafe has three dog-friendly tables outside. This quaint American restaurant is located in the historic Edgewood section of Cranston, Rhode Island. The menu includes soups, starters, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and you can make your own gourmet pizza. For dinner, you could give their spaghetti and clams a try, prepared with minced clams in a rich sauce, whole littlenecks, and served red or white. Although they don't serve alcohol, you can see their friends at Edgewood Liquors down the street, who have a variety of craft beer and wine. The Edgewood Cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5pm to 9pm.

Not only do they serve breakfast seven days a week, they also provide over twenty different, over-stuffed, specialty sandwiches for lunch. The Thanksgiving specialty sandwich is served with herb stuffing, whole cranberry sauce, and lettuce, on whole wheat bread. If you're looking for something a little sweeter, their bakery menu contains lots of sweet treats, including muffins, fresh pastries, large cookies, and cakes by the slice. Alternatively, their fresh salads come with a choice of toppings and dressings. East Ferry Market and Deli is open every day of the week from 6am to 5pm.
