Poor Customer Service
Comfort Inn EdmundstonOur keys did not work for any of the outside doors, making it very difficult to get in and out of the hotel. The staff was aware of the problem but did nothing to try and fix it. It ended up storming the night we were there, so one of us was always stuck outside with the dog in the rain waiting for the other person to open the door. What a pain! Also, we were put in an upstairs room, which is also not ideal when travelling with a dog. Although it has nothing to do with the dog, the breakfast room was filthy, supplies were not stocked, and the girl working that morning was very unfriendly and not helpful. We will never stay at this hotel again.
Had to switch rooms
Comfort Inn WestOur ground level room was in the corner or the building and did not have a patio door so there was no access to outside. We had to ask to be switched so that it was easier for us to let our dog in and out. Also, at this hotel I had to fill out a “Pet Policy” form with my dog’s name - the lady at the desk couldn’t really tell me why the hotel needed to know that.
Will stay here again!
Comfort Inn FrederictonFriendly desk staff; outdoor bbq area; large room; good breakfast; nice area to walk the dog.
Wouldn’t stay here again
Days Inn by Wyndham Ste Helene-De-BagotThis hotel was very close to the highway and so was quite noisy. Also, the floor in our room was laminate floor instead of carpet which our dog did not find very comfortable to walk on. Finally, the “grassy area” was tiny and right beside the parking lot. This was not our first choice, but it was all we could find on short notice.
