Dog liked room size & walking area
Colonial Inn EllsworthDog rooms in annex behind motel. No-smoking room (no smoke/urine smell) was large with table/chair, chest of drawers, microwave, & refrigerator with separate freezer. Available electric outlets next to bed. Sink including usable space outside of toilet/tub area. Room had good internet access plus smart TV. Large grass area with woods behind annex with garbage can near side door. Good AC and quiet at night for restful sleep.
Definitely Dog Friendly
Econo Lodge Freeport - Brunswick AreaSeveral rooms had dogs & even cats. Motel reasonably priced, in good shape, and well located to shops & restaurants. Non-smoking room up-to-date & clean with bare floor yielding no smoke or urine smell. Outdoor entrance was convenient, AC worked fine, and it was quiet at night. Both dog & I slept well. We will stay here again.
Very Dog Friendly
Inn at the Finger LakesStaff is very dog friendly. Several rooms had dog residents on 1st floor. Just outside side door is a grass area for dogs including poop bags & a trash can. Room was clean & no smoking; on smaller size, but with a large bathroom; and with newer furniture with a large TV. Room had small microwave & fridge. Hotel itself is next to town with several good restaurants (Lasca’s is excellent!), small & large stores, drug store, & a Starbucks. Dog was happy & slept well.
Good budget place to stay
Super 8 by Wyndham CanandaiguaConvenient motel location with Wegmans across the street, Walmart & Starbucks down the street, and all levels of restaurants close by. Room was clean and good size on 1st floor halfway down from main entrance and side exit (I.e. safe) with nice view of pond. Lots of towels and a large TV including my spouses most important channel: Hallmark. Only negative was the parking lot entrance potholes, but lot had lots of availability. Also, the free basic breakfast included decent coffee.
