Enjoyable tour, delicious oysters
Glidden Point Oyster FarmsWe had a wonderful time at Glidden Point. We (including our dog) joined a small group of people for their very informative tour in which they explained how the farm operates. Afterwards, we purchased some very tasty oysters from the farm store and enjoyed them at their spacious outdoor seating area. They have a nice selection of beverages and snacks to accompany the oysters. You have to shuck your own oysters - they will provide the shucking knife and any assistance if needed. It was truly a fun and memorable addition to our trip. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Maine.
Very pet-friendly, great stay
Lowes Wharf Marina InnWe had a great time here. The Inn has an outdoor beach with a bar that has a nice relaxed vibe. Our dog went nuts playing in the sand while we enjoyed our cocktails. Staff made sure our dog had plenty of water. The rooms were priced very reasonably and were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
Dog-friendly, delicious food
BravaEnjoyed pizza and a charcuterie plate here with my husband and my dog. Our dinner was phenomenal and staff was very friendly toward my dog. The outdoor seating area was not heated when we were there (October) but the food is definitely worth bundling up for.
Wonderful food, very dog-friendly
Red Dot Restaurant & BarEnjoyed a terrific dinner at Red Dot. We (including my Shiba) were treated very warmly by the staff. The food was excellent and the restaurant is right in the heart of town. We'll definitely return next time we're in Hudson.
Excellent food, very dog-friendly
Beal's Lobster PierWe were able to be seated outside, overlooking the water. I enjoyed my garlic lobster roll and steamers while my dog enjoyed watching the boats dock. We'll definitely return next time we're in Maine.
Excellent lobster, very dog-friendly
Thurston's Lobster PoundWe were visiting the area in October and Maine at night on the coast is quite chilly at that time. The restaurant has dog-friendly seating downstairs that is heated, which was definitely a welcome surprise. Also a nice surprise - the lobster here was priced very fairly. Probably the best lobster meal we had on our trip.
Excellent lunch, very dog-friendly
BlazeWe grabbed lunch here as soon as we were miraculously able to find a parking spot in Camden. Blaze is extremely dog-friendly. We were seated right above the water and thoroughly enjoyed our burger and scallop BLT (excellent btw) while our dog enjoyed watching the activity on the waterfront. There were other very well-behaved pups here so we knew we were in a truly dog-friendly spot.
Great location, heated seating area
Stewman's Lobster Pound DowntownStewman's was very welcoming toward my dog. We arrived on a very chilly October night and were seated in a nicely heated dining room over the water. The food and drink were excellent. I would definitely recommend eating here to anyone traveling the Bar Harbor with a pup.
A great stay at the dog-friendly Wick
The Wick Hudson a Tribute Portfolio HotelWe spent an evening at the Wick, which is a short walk from the heart of town. My dog is a little noise-reactive and our room was thankfully very quiet - we couldn't hear anyone next door. Our room was very clean. I'd stay here again next time we're in Hudson.
Great stay at the Mid-Town Motel
Mid-Town MotelThis dog-friendly motel is in a great location - quiet and an easy walk to the waterfront. I guess one could describe it as hipster chic; the rooms are very cute and well-decorated. I had a great night's stay here with my dog. One thing I'll note is my dog is a little noise-reactive and we could hear our neighbors talking - not loudly, but enough to get my dog's attention; I put on a white noise machine and was able to drown it out pretty easily. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Maine.
Great location, comfortable stay
Top Notch InnWe enjoyed our stay at the Top Notch Inn. There's is a dog "station" behind the motel which was very much appreciated, and lots of grass around the motel. I'll note that my dog is a little noise-reactive and we could hear people stomping around next door and yelling outside, but everyone quieted down around sleeping hours so it wasn't a big deal. I'd stay here again next time I'm in the area.
A great stay at the Hampton Inn
Hampton Inn & Suites Berkshires LenoxI spent a night here with my dog. The $75 pet fee was a bit steep, but the staff gave us a goodie bag with treats and recommended pet-friendly restaurants in the area, as well as complimentary food and water bowls and even a crate for our stay. They also put us in a room right next to the exit door to one of their "dog stations" which was a plus. I always like staying at Hampton Inns so I had a typically nice stay here and am pleased that I was allowed to bring my dog to this particular location.
