Year round enclosed Dog friendly patio

Paddy Coynes Irish Pub

Brunch. Such a simple concept done amazingly well at Paddy Coyness Irish Pub. The breakfast selection looked fabulous, but I chose the lunch side of the menu. The Lamb Skewers are out of this world! Juicy and tender with hints of wonderful herbs. Top it off with a peanut sauce to dip them in and BLAM!...so good! The meatloaf dish I ordered had sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes done properly in an Irish fare establishment. The meatloaf had pork sausage and beef and was wrapped in bacon. The smokiness in every bite made it memorable, for sure.
My spouse had a soup and salad combo with a tomato bisque that was creamy and delicious.
The Guiness and Jameson were presented in a most professional manner by a very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff.
Now for the best part...we had just left Marymoor Dog Park and sought out a dog friendly restaurant. Paddy Coyne's has a covered, heated 365 day outdoor patio serving area that is dog friendly. We brought our pup in and sat down in a very comfortable table and enjoyed our drinks and meal knowing our dog was safe and comfortable with us.
We can't wait to return and try out more of the menu, including some of the more rare Irish and Scotch whiskeys from their epic selection.
Bellevue, you folks are lucky to have this pub in your town!

A local volunteer success story

Dog Park at DuPont PowderWorks Park

DuPont Off-Leash Dog Park is a purely volunteer maintained venue in DuPont’s Piwderworks Park. The dog park is surrounded by cyclone style fencing and has two distinct and separated play areas for dogs. The larger area features a wooded area with trees and tall grass, as well as plenty of open space to allow a dog to run or chase toys.
The smaller area is best for smaller breeds or puppies over 4 months old and is wide open and flat.
There are logs specifically placed for seating as well as a picnic bench outside the gates for sitting or enjoying a family outing.
The dogs I have encountered there have not been overly aggressive, and usually owners are gracious to separate in the two areas dogs that are becoming aggressive towards each other.
The dog park is pretty free of dog feces, and people are urged to remind visitors of their responsibility to clean up after their dogs.
There is fresh water available on both enclosed spaces.
We are fortunate to have this facility in our town. We visit it frequently and enjoy the facility.
