Understanding front desk

First time traveling across country with our two dogs. Second night of our trip, I guess as we took them out in the morning, they barked once or twice. I guess they woke some one up who didn’t realize it was a dog friendly hotel. We came in the front door and they barked at the front desk person. He told me about the complaint. As I said, they did not bark thru the night, just twice when we went out. He was very nice about it and he understood. I would still highly recommend this La Quinta.
