Great Trail!
James River Heritage TrailLynchburg is a small but interesting town with so much history. We enjoyed visiting the town so much and our walk along the James River Trail was the best part of it. We got to walk up and down Percival's Island and even visit the Hollins Mill Waterfall! We would definitely go back again if we were ever given the chance to.
Great for Big Dogs!
Quality Suites Moab Near Arches National ParkWe had trouble finding a place that didn't charge us extra for Levi's size (he is a 150lbs Great Dane). They gave us a 2 queen bed room which was perfect! We got a whole bed to ourselves!!! We loved it.
Beautiful Sceneries, Not Great For Bigger Dogs
Corona ArchWe traveled trough Moab, Ut in early June. Temperatures increase rapidly during the day so we decided to go on a hike really early in the morning. The first half of the hike was great! We found a nice shady area to rest in too. Once we got close to the Arch, things got a lot more difficult. There is an area with a rope were people need to hold on to climb up, this was impossible for Levi who isn't very agile. Then there is a ladder, which was impossible for both dogs. We ended up stopping there and resting while admiring the arch from afar. For a smaller dog that can be carried, this wouldn't have been a problem.
Great Park!
Bedwell Bayfront ParkWe love going on short hikes at Bayfront. Keep to the trails and you will not bother any wildlife. We have seen skunks, raccoons, owls are other birds around the park. Watch out for off-leash dogs, it is a large area and there are some people who do not follow rules. It does warm up a lot during the summer and we would advise against going there until the temperatures cool down, we go in the evenings when it is comfortable.
