Stay here
Matterhorn InnThis place was awesome. The pet fee was about $25 a night, and the location was awesome. The rooms have been recently updated and whoever designed them really did a great job. The handle to turn on the shower is on the opposite wall of the showerhead, so you don’t have to get wet in order to turn on the shower.
The rooms felt really quiet, however, of course you will have some noise from the cars in the parking lot. However, we bring a white noise machine and that helped with any unwanted ambient noise. There’s a little pet relief area next to the hotel, but those are all just rocks. My dog does not enjoy rocks, so we just walked through some of the side streets. There’s plenty of food options available around the hotel, and most of them are dog friendly.
We never needed our car after we parked it at the hotel for the next couple of days during our stay. Everything was within walking distance. When I booked a hotel, some of the photos were outdated, so I was concerned of what the room would actually look like. However, upon checking, I was pleasantly surprised how updated and high end the room was.
No Issues
Comfort Inn & Suites Tulsa I-44 West Rt 66Stayed here for a night. This is located in a bit of a more industrial area, but access to the highway was easy. There are plenty of grassy areas around the hotel. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast starts at 7am, so it’s not something we took advantage of as we already got onto the road before that. I would stay again.
Classier Food
The Euro BistroThis place was very good food and service wise. Just a heads up that it is a bit more pricey than the name gives away. Average entree price runs at $30 right now.
However, everything we had was worth the price.
Worth The Trip
Grand Ravines Dog ParkThis park was a bit farther than other’s from our hotel, but it was absolutely worth the drive.
The play areas are so well maintained, have plenty of benches to sit, and the off leash trails are an added bonus and fun.
The big dog area does have two pools, so it was nice to cool down.
There is a dog wash as mentioned it their description, however it’s a minimum of $5 fee. So no quick rinse type of deal.
If you are in the area, definitely stop by.
Nice Atmosphere And Good Food
That Early BirdYou order inside, and can just choose your seat where you want. A good outdoor space that is covered, and is dog friendly.
Food was very tasty, and we definitely would recommend coming here if you are in the area.
Dog Friendly
Big Bob's Gaslight VillageStopped by here for some dinner. Dogs are allowed on the outside patio, and a bowl of water is provided for them.
There is free popcorn inside, and everyone can just go and grab some. So we got some for our dog too.
Food was very good, and service was friendly.
We can definitely recommend coming here.
