Nice stay, but messy dog relief area

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Four Seasons St. Louis during our road trip from Texas to Wisconsin. The hotel provides dog beds, dog bowls, bottle waters, treats, and even little bandanas. The only complaint is the lack of a clean and safe pet relief area. We went out and found a lot of old mushy poop from other owners (disgusting). Well I believe it’s the owners responsibility to clean up after there dog(s), I think the hotel should also ensure their area is clean and healthy for other dogs. Not only that, but the hotel is not necessarily in the best area. While we were out there at night, we felt uncomfortable with many homeless people nearby and multiple cars driving by slowly yelling at us. We love Four Seasons, but this is definitely not my favorite. Works for just quick stays.
