Beautiful park to visit in the fall
Lake Wenatchee State ParkWe've only visited during leaf peeping season and it is a beautiful park to bring your pup. There are nice trails and we let our pups off the leash to splash around in the lake a bit. Not crowded during the week at all.
My pups love it here
Sandy River Delta ParkThis is a wonderful off leash area where we bring our pups whenever we are in the area. It is large with options to roam wooded and open areas or play in water. Access is right off the freeway and parking is never a problem when we've visited. The pups and humans love playing here. Do watch out for brambles.
Nice dog park
Fort Walla Walla Dog ParkI live in the area and enjoy bringing my pups to this park. There are a wide variety of dogs who come and most people and their dogs are friendly. Poop bags are provided and there is water available except in winter. Trees provide shade and there is a flat and hilly area. Separate sections for large and small dogs.
Good off leash area
Memory Grove Off Leash Area at Freedom TrailWe brought our two pups here twice during a road trip between WA and CO. The park is shady with great access to a shallow creek that is perfect for splashing around. It's not a large area but there was plenty to keep the pups busy and to work off some energy after being in a car all day. Well behaved dogs and poop bags provided. The area is not fenced.
Dog friendly stay
Quality Inn & Suites Summit CountyWe stayed here 3 nights with our two pups. The hotel is quiet, clean, and close to trails and restaurants. There are nice neighborhoods to walk the pups. We were given a free room upgrade which provided more space. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful off leash area
Riverbend ParkWe stopped here on a road trip and both of my pups had a wonderful time. Although it was a hot day, there is plenty of shade, grass, and the river runs alongside with plenty of opportunities for the pups to cool off in the water. The park is clean and poop bags are provided.
