Under construction
La Quinta by Wyndham St. GeorgeI hadn’t realized that the hotel is completely under construction. The check-in staff was very nice and said they had assigned us a quiet room as requested. It was pretty shocking to walk to the room on paint splattered carpet past peeling walls. It really is like walking through a construction zone. Unfortunately our room next to the stairwell was not as quiet as hoped and there was also noise from upstairs. The room itself was mostly completely renovated aside from the wifi hanging loose out of the wall. The pool was nice and breakfast was good. I think this would be a good place to stay when the construction is complete, but we had a pretty bad night from our dog reacting to the noise.
Great for dogs and their humans
La Quinta by Wyndham Grand Junction AirportModern rooms, very comfortable pillow top mattresses, lots of space. Nice green space all around. Pool looked nice too. Full breakfast. Staff very thoughtful in assigning our room. Really great experience.
Very welcoming
Staypineapple, Hotel Rose, Downtown PortlandThe hotel experience is very geared towards dogs. Love the carpet free but heated floors. Very comfortable beds and beautiful view over the window. Cross the street to the park for pet relief, but no place on the actual grounds. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Wish I could give 10 bones!
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ashland an IHG HotelThis is one of the best check in experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Incredibly kind and informative. We got a free upgrade based on finding a quiet room for our reactive dog. The room was perfectly clean and the beds so comfortable. Our pet doesn’t usually sleep so well away from home and we all slept wonderfully. Grab and go breakfast items were also very good with gluten free choices.
Must stop
Paramount CafeWe’ve always loved the Paramount Cafe for its delightful coffees and drinks and beautiful patio surrounded by street art, but this was the first time we visited with our pup. She was very comfortable on the patio and even better offered a free puppiccino! Her first time having one. So nice to feel welcomed and to see how dogs are appreciated!
Great night’s sleep
Sleep Inn Provo Near UniversityOur dog can be very anxious in noisier hotels and I was hoping for a quiet night. I requested a quieter room when booking and we were given a room on the second floor. It was blissfully quiet! We couldn’t even hear the occupied rooms around us and the hotel was very full. Several small green areas around were also good. Breakfast was fine, although would have been good to have a gluten free option. Best night’s sleep our dog had ever had in a hotel!!!
Great (and cheap) dog hotel
Motel 6 Kingman AZ - Route 66 EastWe weren’t expecting much, but the hotel has been recently renovated and the room was extremely clean and nice. Check in was smooth and overall nicer than many places we’ve paid twice as much to stay in.
Very clean and quiet
Best Western Mountain View InnThe outside of the hotel doesn’t look like it will be anything very special but this was the cleanest and quietest place we stayed on our trip. The staff was very nice and accommodating and I would choose again over the newer looking other places we stayed.
Clean room but noisy
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Orem - North ProvoOverall the hotel is very nice. Staff very friendly and everything very clean. Our room was nice but it felt like there was no soundproofing. We could clearly hear everything in the hall and surrounding rooms which meant we had a very poor sleep and our dog was constantly disturbed.
Great stay
Sonesta Simply Suites Las Vegas Convention CenterWonderful hotel not far from the strip. Assigned our room based on what would be best for the puppy. Great staff and very clean!
