Very Good Service, Clean and Comfortable
Extended Stay America Suites Toledo MaumeeWe had the opportunity to get the main pet room, which is on the bottom floor, right next to the exit. I can't recall the exact room #, but there were two windows as it is located on a corner in the building. They allow you to keep your pet in the room alone as long as you supply them with a cell phone #. We tried, but alas our dog is a baby so howled within minutes after leaving. They called, were very friendly and explained the situation whereby I returned immediately to the room while my wife waited for our dinner order to be ready. I picked up Joe (our pooch) and returned to the eatery to get my wife. No big deal, the staff was very friendly and understanding, I would stay there again. GREAT YARD, there's an open green space behind the motel the size of three football fields that's grassy and I was even able to let Joe run free for a few minutes.

$50 Pet Fee
Americas Best Value Inn Sault Ste MarieNice hotel, but the pet fee is outrageous at $50 a night. For that price, you could board your dog at the local kennel in town! (Sault Animal Hospital)

Nice, clean and comfortable motel in the surburban Saginaw Countryside
Relax InnIt was a little tricky getting to this place from I75/23, i.e. it's not on the main drag - we exited Birch Run and it took about 10 minutes to get there, but it was worth it - great little place in the middle of a (cornfield)?
I wasn't sure because our stay was in late October, but you're in the middle of a little farming community and feel far out from the City / Suburbs, but yet food delivery and conveniences are only a 5 mile drive away.
It was great for our dog, he loved romping around in the field behind the motel complex and had plenty of room to Do his business and not have to worry about picking it up really, if anything he's fertilizing the field LOL.
Seriously though, they have garbage cans outside the motel for those times he had a dump in the grassy areas, it's an easy pick up / drop off.
Rooms are nice, simple, and clean, recently updated. Manager on site takes his business seriously.
Pet fee was $15 on top of everything else.
