Some Good, Some Bad
Best Western MurfreesboroGood - The hotel is conveniently located near the interstate. Bad - you can hear the interstate traffic. There are exterior doors to the rooms so it is easy to get your dog in and out. No carpet which is a plus when traveling with a dog.
Ok
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Nashville AirportThe hotel could use a refresh. The location is good (e.g., near airport, fast food options close to hotel). I like that the floors are vinyl plank rather than carpet. There is a little grass for dogs. No microwave or refrigerator in the room.
Good service and fair price
Red Roof Inn MurfreesboroThe front desk was able to accommodate my request for a first floor room near an exit. Room was equipped with vinyl plank flooring, a refrigerator, and microwave. There is ample space outdoors to walk your dog. While the room has a slightly unpleasant smell, the price, service, and amenities made this a good experience for a one-night stay while traveling.
Great!
Hotel Preston Nashville AirportHotel rooms are clean and spacious. There is ample green space and lighting to walk your dog as well as a small dog yard where dogs can be off leash. Overall, great experience.
Hidden Gem In Jacksonville
Jacksonville Arboretum & GardensNice place for a quick hike with your dog. Some of the trails are a bit narrow when you encounter other people and/or dogs. The place is well maintained and easy to navigate. I look forward to our next visit.
