Wonderful tours, very accomodating
Witch City Walking ToursMy family took a tour during our trips to Salem, and of course had our dog with us. We checked beforehand that it wouldn't be a problem, and we were assured it wouldn't be a problem, but were warned that dogs are not permitted in cemeteries. As it turned out, the Murder & Mayhem tour didn't go into any cemeteries. However, if it had, the tour guide was equipped with a small microphone/voice amplifier that I feel sure we could have heard if we needed to stand outside of a cemetery. Our guide was wonderful, and included our dog in the tour. We had a great experience, and lots of fun!
Great food, very dog friendly
RockafellasWonderful food and reasonable prices. My dog was very welcome with us on the patio. They set a water dish out for her on the shade, and even brought me a menu for her. We got the beef patty for her, which they brought out on a bed of lettuce. Could not have been more accomodating and friendly!
Summer Beach Fun!!
Nauset Light BeachSo great to be able to visit the Cape, and bring the dog without any issues. Full disclosure, we went on a Tuesday, so I imagine the crowds were way less than a weekend. BUT, its a beautiful beach to set up at, and just enjoy yourself with the pup! Lots of dog encounters, even on a weekday, so I would say, follow the rules, make sure you're leashed up, because you don't know who you'll meet. (Also very exciting for us to see seals bobbing in the water about 100-200ft away. Our dog was delighted by "sea puppies"!)
Popular and delicious
Jaho Coffee & TeaThey were happy to let us sit on the patio and gave us a dish for a water bowl. It is a very busy location, but being right next to the water, its easy to grab your order and go sit on the nearby green if the chaos is a little too much. A bit pricey, but worth it!
Great Ice Cream, All Outdoor
SnowmanThe ice cream is terrific! The flavors are fantastic, and they have low calorie and low sugar options as well. Portions are HUGE. Dogs are always welcome as there is not indoor seating. There is a small picnic area behind the ordering stand, and dogs need to be leashed, as there is always traffic coming in and out near the picnic tables. Mostly, we just make a stop with the dog in our way around town, and take the ice cream with us. Friendly people, but not much to offer the pups.
