Good experience
JOANN Fabrics and Craftsno employees ever even approached us, so while not an excellent reception, I’m okay with not being bothered too. A few other customers gave him pets. My dog behaved well, and we got some training exercises done, not to mention exposure to so much weird stuff (looking at you, feather boa).
Nice folks
Cantrell Ace Hardwarelots of pets for my dog, and they were completely fine with him being there. Some areas in the back of the store are nice and fairly open and make a good spot for a little leash walking practice or basic training.
Great reception
Tractor Supply Co.Been warmly welcomed every time we’ve gone in. Lots of pets, and no complaints when my dog decided that a metal sheep needed barked at. 😬🙄
Great training
Telltail Dog TrainingWe attended puppy kindergarten with Asher in the spring and are now in leash manners and recall. We have seen great improvements in our puppy by using the training methods she has taught. Not only that, she’s more than willing to answer questions outside of lessons as they come up, which I really appreciate. The classes have a laid back feel, and she respects and helps me with the fact that my Aussie sometimes has the attention span of a gnat. She uses positive reinforcement methods. Classes are held at the SoMa vet clinic in downtown LR. highly recommend.
Pretty boring
Dog Park at Burns ParkI mean, it’s a fenced in area for a dog to run around or pee or whatever, but it’s not exciting. Random fire hydrant, some water pools, a big rock, random tennis balls, and some benches and a picnic table. Poop bags and a trash can are provided and there’s a water source but it’s just…boring. Burns Park is an awesome park so I really expected better.
