Dirty carpet
Travelodge by Wyndham Traverse City MIThe carpets were filthy. After coming into the room after a long day we washed our feet. Shortly after being in the room for a bit our feet were disgustingly gross from the awful carpet.
Needs major updating
Cedar Hill LodgeStayed two nights. Chose this hotel since it’s pet friendly. The grounds were the only reason I gave it 3 bones. The room itself was clean and comfortable but felt like a 70’s throwback motel. The fridge was small and the air conditioner was very loud.
Very nice stay!
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Houghton MIMy husband and I stayed two nights. Desk staff was exceptional. Suggested we go to The Jam Pot in Eagle Harbor and it’s a definite must go to if you’re in the area. Our pup Myla had a treat bag waiting in the room. Beds were comfy. Everything was perfect.
Quick one night stay
Days Inn by Wyndham Mackinaw City - LakeviewThis hotel is extremely outdated. The first room given had a hole in the wall and the slider to the porch area had no lock. NONE. The top security latch was missing and the lock on the door itself did not work. Looked as if someone tried to “break out” of the room. When we notified the front desk, she was sweet and gave us a second room. This hotel is in a great location. Especially if you want to hop aboard Sheplers Ferry. The parking lot is directly behind the hotel. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. They do have a nice area for your 4 legged babies and the patio was nicely fenced in for our pup.
