“Nasty”, Sam’s Town own choice of word
Sam's Town TunicaI reserved a one night stay for Sunday, November 11, 2018. My reservation was made via bringfido.com and was comprised of two rooms for four people and two dogs. We arrived at 5pm ( check-in was 4pm). We were told they were not aware we were traveling with two dogs. bringfigo.com ALWAYS calls the hotel and confirms. We were told we would have to wait while they cleaned the rooms. We asked how long that would take and were told by the front desk staff (none were wearing name tags) it depends how “nasty” the rooms are as to the amount of cleaning time required. After 45 minutes, I called Bringfido.com to see if they can help. They called the casino and spoke with Bernice. She said they knew we were traveling with dogs and they just weren’t ready. I do not know why they just did not apologize when we arrived for running behind. They could have offered us a voucher for a free coffee while we waited. Honesty is always the best policy and I’m sure we would have understood. Instead we got the run around. Why would the staff call their rooms nasty? They were smoking rooms and of course smelled horrid. Toilet seat was horribly stained. I scrubbed with Lysol wipes that I carried with me. I would not stay there again.
