Pet friendly-ish

Good location, old but nice hotel for the price. I think the pet-friendliness varies depending on the staff. On our first night they said dogs were allowed everywhere except the pool/restaurant, and allowed our dog to be with us in the far corner area outside by the pool before the "no pets beyond this point" sign. The next day another staff member told us our dog couldn't be anywhere on the premises except for walking to/from our room and the beach. Either there was some miscommunication or that guy was just a jerk. For a $200 pet fee, you would expect them to at least allow dogs in most areas except the pool.
