This is an older motel but they are remodeling. We had an ocean view and it was great. Very nice beach area and sidewalks to walk. Staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this if you go to Nagshead.

Staff was great, dogs were treated well. The beach access was still being redone and that was hard,but the beach itself was great,lots of dogs everywhere. Hotel was badly in need of repair,locks were falling out of the doors,carpets needed replacing,the balcony room we were in was not a balcony, it looked out at the pool fence and the pool was in the middle of repair also. men were everywhere doing work so hopefully the outside area is being fixed. the inside needs to be done next. The exercise equipment was sparse but the treadmill was of good quality. The staff was very nice and helpful and no one gave us any trouble about the dogs even though they are large and scary looking.

It's an older hotel but the people were very kind to my Hercules and I. The room had everything we needed and opened to the rear deck and pool, very nice. We will be back.
