    Camping here for Years

We have been camping here at Lake Skinner for years, and have always brought our dogs. They love watching the rabbits early in the morning, ground squirrels, birds and lizards. Plenty of paths to adventure with them. We always select a campsite next to the grass area so they have a place to be lazy and lay down instead of dirt.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, supposedly our dogs are not to be within 50ft of the water line, and not to play at the Splash Pad.

I was told not to ride my bike on this service road. Yes, it was labeled Wrong way, and was told to ride around the long way. Then the Ranger guy drove down that service road??? I thought it said Wrong Way?

    Misleading information!

The price is $6 per person and $2 per animal. I didn’t care so much about the price but found out that the dogs are not aloud within 50ft of any water even the splash pad. There are trails you can hike with your dog but I drove an hour and a half to let my dog go into the water 🤬

    Beautiful Views

Dogs loved running around and exploring Lake Skinner. Must pay $6 per person, but it's a small price of preserving this beautiful piece of land.

    Very costly

Be prepared to pay $6 per person to get into the lake. Even if you just want to walk around. Absolutely ridiculous
