- PeggyApr 11, 2024Great park (s) and hiking too!
This park had 3 separate dog parks, small, large and training areas.
I liked it because it also had lots of grass, where your dog could also walk and also hiking areas in the mountains terrain. Only negative is that you have to bring your own water.

Stopped by this park on our way through town and was SO impressed! Friendly dogs, owners and a lot of space for my pit-mix to run out some energy while on a road trip. Highly recommend and will stop by any time I drive through. Also next to a community center and park that seems great for kids!

This very large park is just a tiny bit out of the way off of the I-10, but worth the few extra miles! We were traveling through and found this park to be conveniently located as we were headed west. It was not difficult to find. It’s nestled within a well kept neighborhood within a community center.
There are 3 separated sections(a local advised it’s supposed to be sectioned off for small dogs, large dogs and mixed. However, the field originally meant for the large dogs has been closed for almost a year for unknown reasons.) All 3 sections are very large and roomy. There are plenty of poo bag stations, trash cans and watering areas. The double gated entries help prevent escapees. There was also a big bucket of new tennis balls available at no cost! Not sure if they are just over watering or if there was a big rain storm, but there were several areas of large muddy patches. (not around the water bowl stations) Not a spot you want your dog running through when you’ve got a four hour car ride ahead of you!! Also, it’s such a shame that dog owners don’t keep track of their pups poop deposits! Unfortunately, we did have to dodge landmines that were left behind by irresponsible pet owners. There are a few benches for us humans, but not shaded. Since we stopped there at 9:30am at the end of September, it wasn’t an issue though.
If I lived in the area, I would frequent this dog park so my dogs could play and socialize.

I go to this dog park often. It is an off leash park that is fenced in. There is a dog water bowl station right outside the gates, and has benches to relax while your dog plays. There are small trees for shade in case it's to hot. In all the times I went, there has been a decent amount of well behaved dogs and responsible individuals who take responsibility of their pets actions and messes if any are to occur. I recommend.

Just lacking in shade and equipment.

Lots of dogs there when we went, all breeds and different sizes. Owners were also very nice and responsible. I recommend this place! :)

Took both my dogs to visit the park recently. They had a blast with the big dogs! People seemed pretty good about picking up after their dogs (in the big dog side but someone had neglected to clean up on the little dog side). Will visit again soon.
