      Quite A Nice Trail

      Overall, I really enjoy the trail. Early in the morning is the best time to go, because it usually gets too hot during mid day. Some people don’t watch their dogs and have them off leash, so be ready to deal with dogs. Bring your own water since there’s not much on the way up the mountain and pick up after your dogs. I would recommend having boots on your dog cause sometimes they step on cactus or other things.

      Great Morning Hike

      I've been coming to Mt Ruby for years. Its a great hike in the early morning to do with your dog, not too many people when it's early. Don't wait until afternoon or evening, too many people that don't care if their dogs are on leash. Many careless pet owners that let their ill mannered pet come up to yours. Unfortunately many owners don't clean up after their pet.
      I enjoy the hike for its convenience but its definitely not the greatest. Also, bring water for your pet, not much shade and it can get really hot.
