Signal Hill National Historic Site is pet-friendly. This St. John's landmark is a great place for a hike with your pooch. The highlight of this great overlook on the coast is a bronze statue of a Newfoundland next to a Labrador, commemorating the breeds’ first home. Dogs are welcome if they are on a leash and all mess is cleaned up after them. Signal Hill is open every day of the week from 10am to 6pm.

Very nice views from the top (near cabot tower)! there's a lot of different paths that you can take and it is dog friendly! Just keep your dog on leash :)
