FIDO is the park I bring my two dogs to in Fond du Lac. The dogs enjoy the company of other dogs and they love to nose around the tree line in the back area. BUT... I hate the cigarette butts you find all over the park. My dog will eat them. We had an incident in early spring where one of my dogs ate a large amount of butts dumped in the front corner. He was vomiting before we reached the railroad tracks. He threw up all day (which was lucky for him because butts are toxic to dogs). Will continue to go back, but wish other owners would be more cautious.

- WilliamMore than a year agovery nice
We took our 10 month old lab-poodle mix there on Sunday and had a real nice time. Nice people, very busy, dogs played a little rough, but that is typical. We will go back sometime.

I come to Fond du Lac every summer with my dog. We are avid participants of F.I.D.O. Dog Park. I am always very impressed upon coming back, at how well maintained that park is. I have had great experiences there and will continue to do so upon my June arrival back to FIDO!!My dog absolutely loves it, and I love doing the walking. Thanks to everyone for keeping it up!!

This park was awesome and fun for my dog until encountering some of the owners. Especially the couple who has four small grey terrier type dogs. The owners are rude! I have made sure everyone knows about my latest encounters there and we will be scheduling playdates elsewhere!

FIDO is a great dog park. Convenient in the center of town, nice to walk along the Fond du Lac river (well, for part of the walk anyway). Mostly friendly people and mostly friendly dogs, though, as with any dog area there are times when one must be very alert. The only downside of the park (and why I gave it only 4 bones) is a few irresponsible people who don't clean up after their dogs. When walking PLEASE pay attention to where your dog is and when it poops (MOST WILL!!!!) and clean up. Take a bag when you enter the park.......Your dog WILL poop. Don't say to yourself that you will get it later. Pick up ONE extra pile please! If everyone does that the problem is solved.

Very clean, well maintained, fun, nice people with friendly dogs. The lawn and grounds are nicely cared for. Dog waste disposal bags are available. A majority of owners are very responsible in cleaning up after their own dog.
My dog and I love going there......three times around the outside perimeter equals 1 mile (for you walkers out there!).
