Gettysburg National Military Park Leashed dogs are allowed to visit the outside portions of the battlefield at the pet-friendly Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania. Gettysburg was one of the most famous American battlefields, which marked the turning point in the Civil War. Later, President Lincoln gave his famous Gettysburg Address here.
