The warm and patient welcome my dog and I received was wonderful, and like a ray of sunshine after a long day on the road. The room had everything we needed and was clean & bright. The inn was easy to find. If ever I am back through Prince George, I would be very happy to stay here again.

We came to Prince George for medical reasons and needed pet-friendly accommodation for us and our Golden Retriever. After research on BringFido, we chose the Carmel Inn. When calling to make the reservation, the team member I talked to asked if anyone in the party was over 60, getting us a seniors' discount.
We were travelling during a cold snap, where temperatures dropped to -35 C, so I was worried about the room being chilly and about plugging in our vehicle. The room, with a queen bed, was lovely and warm and plugging in the vehicle was accomplished by conveniently placed hanging outlets. The room had a fridge, induction hot plate, coffee make and utensils ready for use. You could hear some noise from neighboring rooms and from the diesel trucks in the parking lot.
The motel has a nearby Greek themed restaurant that serves up large servings. I opted for takeout, because I had my dog with us and was reluctant to leave her alone in the room. There is a good Chinese restaurant close by as well. For my dog, there was a fenced in off leash area that she could run around in. And the location of this property has a great deal of streetlighting around it, so I felt safe out walking her around the area in the dark. Overall, a pleasant stay, and we'll stay here again the next time we travel to Prince George. - AdamSep 25, 2022Dog friendly for sure
They had a little off leash area for the dog to hang out and be free for a moment while traveling. Was nice since he's been cooped up in the car for hours at a time.

This place has a small dog run area which was nice for letting our dogs relieve themselves and stretch their legs. Rooms are kinda small, and if you’re driving a big uhaul, it’s not too convenient. Rooms are small.

The room was okay but lacked some kitchen supplies. Needed to ask for more items for room like toilet tissue, and it wasn't totally clean. But staff were friendly and we had a room at the back so it was quiet.

They don’t give treats out to the puppers but they do have a fenced off area near front desk! The floor is hard flooring. The staff seems family oriented and very accommodating. Oh and extremely clean!!!!
