We had stayed with our two dogs (one 44 pounds, one 12 pounds) previously and while the room we purchased was fine, we did run into a hassle at the front desk. Up leaving the next morning, a different hotel employee was at the front desk and told us something different (seems to be rather typical in Costa Rica). Probably won't be going back until they straighten out their story.
