Reviews
Travelers generally find the Quality Inn & Suites Limon to be a satisfactory budget hotel, with friendly staff and clean rooms, though some report issues with the pet-friendly areas. They note the limited breakfast offerings and lack of grassy spaces for dogs as downsides.

- DebMay 2, 2024Accommodating!
Front desk staff gave us a room convenient to the door for potty time. There is a big open area out back where my dogs were able to run (lots of trash back there but still). Our stay was nice. Thank you.
- DougMay 24, 2023Another Roadside Dump!!!
Terrible place. I cringe when I think about the physical conditions. Dog friendly? Every landscape area is filled with gravel. No grass for the dogs to relieve themselves. Don't be lured by the cheap room rate, spend a few extra bucks and stay at a nicer hotel - I wish we had!
- DavidNov 14, 2022Not worth the cheap price
Well, it's a nice low price. That's about the only good thing I can say. This hotel feels old and the room was decorated with moth-eaten drapes and funky worn linens. The "full breakfast" was anything but - it was the skimpiest offering we've seen anywhere. The usual waffle maker, a few packaged pastries and some dry cereal was about all that was offered. A well-worn sign claims that "due to Covid 19 our emergency food supplies are limited, so we will limit our breakfast offerings." Tip - go to the nearby coffee shop for much better coffee, breakfast burritos and pastries.
As for accepting dogs, they put us in a room at the far end of a hallway near an outside door for easy access. However, that door does not lock so there is no security. Worse, there is no place to walk the dog other than a dirt turnaround and rough scrub-brush full of trash. Every time we took our little pup out for a walk she picked up goats-heads (thorny spiky pods) in her feet. Miserable place and definitely NOT RECOMMENDED.
- LaurieOct 27, 2022Good Location
This hotel was a good location, right on our way to Colorado. The room location was in the back so perfect for walking the dog. There is not much grass around the hotel which is my only complaint. The staff was friendly. I love BringFido, it helped us tremendously on our trip from Maryland to Colorado.
- TaraJun 29, 2022Great stay
Room was nice and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. We were right next to a door to take the dogs out easily.
- MelissaJul 1, 2021Not the best area for dogs
The hotel staff was kind and helpful. However, the room smelled of urine and this was a known issue when I notified staff, but I was not given any notice ahead of time. It would have been nice to know what I was walking in to. The fence area for dog relief is terrible and overgrown. We used the field beside the hotel as it looked like it was better maintained than the designated overgrown pet area. Breakfast was good and other than the smell the room was clean. The back door is not locked so anyone could walk in at anytime guest or not.
- LisaJun 29, 2021Clean quiet
You get what you pay for. This is a bargain hotel but the beds were great. The room was clean and quiet. The towels weren’t brand new. The water in the town is uggh, but the staff was friendly and the dog was happy.
- SandyJun 1, 2021Not a good spot for food
The place set aside for dogs was very small and rocky.
- ManeewanApr 11, 2021Need more grass area for pets.
The room was fine and employees were friendly. The backdoor and swimming pool area were unlocked. Notified employee on duty about the unlocked backdoor. He indicated that it was always unlocked. Breakfast was okay. Doggy area was limited, rocks around trees instead of grass. The empty areas with tall grass near the building were unsafe and unclean.

- ScottJul 4, 2020Decent hotel for a quick night stay
Friendly staff, functioning pool. Pet room was not that great smelling, but that seems to be the norm with about half of the pet friendly hotels I stay in. Non pet rooms were good for a budget stay hotel.
- PamelaJan 11, 2020Very friendly
This was a nice, clean hotel. The desk clerk suggested excellent take out from the nearby Mexican restaurant. We were also pleased there was a refrigerator in the room.
- TimothyOct 7, 2019Quality Inn and Suites Limon CO
It is ok at best. Limon is not an attractive place to spend the night. The dog walking area in back of the motel is a joke. Dining options are not great either.
- AndreNov 29, 2018Great location for furry kids to stay.
The rooms are spacious and my puppy was able to socialize with other humans of all sizes and meet new furry friends too! There is a small dog park in back of the inn and plenty of room to walk around away from traffic. Staff is always happy to say hello to the pets and even sit on the floor to play. The breakfast is great and plentiful. I make it a point to stop by on every trip. the front desk even remembers Shrinky's name and greets him as if he were as important as any other guest.
