This was a comfortable stay near several restaurants, shops, and sights of Ocracoke. There are a lot of walkable streets for longer walks (though busy with other pedestrians, bicycles, and golf carts). The room was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the harbor.

Ocracoke Island is a very special place but is the employees at the The Anchorage Inn & Marina that GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Luz, Juan, & Conchi (housekeeping) works tirelessly to keep your room welcoming, clean, and comfortable. They always ask, "How's everything? Can I get you anything?" and "Please let me know if you need anything."
From greeting guests to addressing any and all concerns, Dale & Jeanne navigate the duties at the front desk with class, charm, and patience. This hotel could not run as efficiently as it does without Marco who is always taking care of everything with a smile on his face and a friendly greeting! I look forward to coming back in my travels! GREAT JOB, EVERYONE!!!!!

Very quaint village with a relaxed vibe. Hotel was right in the middle of things and great position for excellent restaurant a few doors down.
