You have access to anything in the house! Help yourself to anything in the kitchen. Make yourself at home and feel free to enjoy anything in the living room, gym or spa. The only thing unavailable is the basement, where Alex & Nadim stay when the entire Mansion is rented.
The Neighborhood:
Disclosure: There is going to be some city construction going on this summer. We apologize! We will remove this disclosure when the project is completed. You may encounter some road or alley blockages near the home during your stay. Construction will not be going on outside of weekday 8am-5pm hours. Parking can be found on 7th and 8th Street.

Just steps away from Mountain Hideaway, Main Street Leadville offers an array of fantastic activities and attractions for visitors. You can take a walking tour of the town's rich history, explore the local shops and boutiques, or dine at some of the area's best restaurants. The Silver Dollar Saloon, which was originally built in 1883, is a must-visit establishment for a drink and a taste of the town's mining history. The National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum is another popular attraction, showcasing the industry that made Leadville famous.
Outdoor enthusiasts will also appreciate the proximity to some of the best hiking, skiing, and snowboarding in the state. Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain are both just a short drive away, and the surrounding mountain ranges offer endless opportunities for exploration and adventure. If you're looking for a more leisurely experience, you can take a scenic drive on the Top of the Rockies Byway, which offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Getting Around:
Exploring the breathtaking mountains and charming town of Leadville is a true delight, and we want to make sure your journey is as smooth and comfortable as possible. The vast majority of our guests bring a car, as the majestic activities that await you in the mountains are a bit further away than a leisurely walk will allow. However, we're proud to share that you're within walking distance to pretty much anything within the main Downtown Area of Leadville, so if you're keen to explore the local shops, restaurants and attractions on foot, you're perfectly situated.
We understand the importance of a stress-free travel experience, which is why we offer plenty of free parking in our spacious parking lot - so you don't have to worry about navigating the tricky and expensive streets of Leadville.
If you're an electric vehicle owner, we've got you covered! We have two Tesla EV charging stations right here at Mountain Hideaway, completely free for our guests to use.
As for skiing and snowboarding, we're just a short drive away from some of the world's best ski resorts. Ski Cooper, with its family-friendly slopes, is only 10 miles away, while Copper Mountain is a quick 23-mile drive. If you're looking for more adventure, Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, and Breckenridge are all within 42 miles.
But that's not all - Leadville is also a hub for some of the most breathtaking hikes and 14ers in Colorado. The Mount Elbert, Mount Massive and Mount Sherman trailheads are all within a few miles of our mansion. And if you're seeking a relaxing day by the water, Turquoise Lake is only 5 miles away, while Twin Lakes is a scenic 20-mile drive.
So whether you're planning an action-packed adventure in the mountains or a peaceful getaway in the charming town of Leadville, Mountain Hideaway is the perfect place to call home.

Yes, pets are allowed if you book the Whole House. There is a pet fee of $100 +tax for 1 pet and $200 +tax for 2 pets max.
To make sure everyone can enjoy the space, Smoking or Vaping tobacco is strictly prohibited throughout the entire property. This includes balconies, decks, patios, the hot tub & the yard. You must go to the sidewalk or street to smoke tobacco. We will cancel your reservation if you smoke on the property. Marijuana smoking is fine as long as it's outside.
The Mountain Hideaway has a 1 gigabit internet line broadcasted throughout the entire house, so the internet is incredibly fast in every single room!
We have 2 Tesla EV charging stations at the Mountain Hideaway, free for guests!
We do everything we can to be environmentally friendly at The Mountain Hideaway. The lodge is powered by renewable wind energy offsets and we've taken many steps to make sure our environmental impact is as little as possible. That said, Please help us out by turning off the lights, turning down the heat, and recycling whenever possible. Thank You!
We have a tenant who lives in the basement and keeps to himself. The basement is a completely separate apartment with its own entrance in the back of the house. Please reach out if you have any questions at all!
Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.
Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.
