Small animals are permitted to travel in the cabin with Air Madagascar if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 11 lbs (5 kg). More than one animal can travel in each carrier if the combined weight does not exceed the limit. Pets will be charged an excess baggage fee of 1-15 EUR per kg to travel in the cabin.

Pets who exceed the weight limit to travel in the cabin can be transported as checked baggage if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 70 lbs (32 kg). Pets will be charged an excess baggage fee of 1-15 EUR per kg to travel as checked baggage.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be a wicker basket or metal carrier. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed the combined dimensions of 62" (158 cm).
