Pet Reservations
Before purchasing a ticket, contact crm@southwindairlines.com at least 3 days before travel to request a place for your pet, too.
Pets in the Cabin
Dogs, cats and birds over 3 months old inside a carrier with a combined weight under 17 lbs (8 kg) are permitted to fly in the cabin with Southwind Airlines. Each passenger is permitted to bring one pet into the cabin during a flight. Pets traveling in the cabin will charged an excess baggage fee.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Cats and dogs over 3 months old who exceed the weight limit to travel in the cabin can be transported as checked baggage instead. For more information, contact crm@southwindairlines.com
Carrier Guidelines
For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 21" x 16" x 8" (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm). For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must be sturdy, hard-sided and meet IATA regulations.
