Dogs and cats who exceed the weight limit to fly in the cabin can be transported as checked baggage instead. The maximum weight of the pet and carrier must not exceed 99 lbs (45 kg). The fee for this service varies depending on the destination of your travel.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be soft-sided and not exceed the dimensions of 18" x 15" x 8" (45 cm x 39 cm x 21 cm). For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must be made of a resistant and safe material, and be suitable for the size of the pet inside.
